SocialDownload is designed as a small utility: paste a URL, receive structured format information, and download only content that is publicly accessible and authorized.

Paste a public video URL
We accept HTTPS URLs from supported domains and reject local, private-network, and unsafe addresses before any processing begins.

We identify the platform
A dedicated adapter handles each platform. This keeps platform behavior isolated and lets unsupported or restricted services return a clear message.

Review the available formats
If the public media metadata is available, the app shows the title, thumbnail, duration, quality, and estimated size.

Download temporarily
Downloads are streamed to a temporary file, size-limited, and removed after delivery. Nothing is permanently archived by default.
